Software Engineer, Platform Engineering (AI)

Salary: $70–$100 per hour

What you will do

• Build and scale full-stack applications with React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Own features end to end, from architecture and development through production deployment.
• Develop reliable backend services, REST APIs, performant frontend interfaces, and workflow tools.
• Design and optimize databases, data models, and queries.
• Improve platform reliability, performance, observability, and developer experience.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and design teams while troubleshooting production issues.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Experience building and scaling products in high-growth startup environments.
• Ability to take products from concept to production and work independently in ambiguous situations.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases, REST APIs, AWS, and modern backend architectures.
• Regular use of AI coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.

Nice to have

• Experience with NestJS, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, or DevOps.
• Background in internal tools, developer platforms, or workflow automation.
• Exposure to AI-powered or data-intensive products.
• Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and system reliability.
