Technical Delivery Manager (AI)

Location: Hybrid working in Cossington/Leicestershire or London, UK; fully remote working is not available.

What you will do

• Track delivery status, risks, blockers, and dependencies across product and engineering squads.
• Resolve cross-squad dependencies and shared timelines while coordinating with technical and non-technical teams.
• Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and follow-up actions.
• Maintain squad health summaries, sprint dashboards, delivery metrics, and quarterly planning tracking.
• Improve Jira hygiene, planning inputs, reporting standards, and the comparability of delivery data.
• Use AI tooling to automate status roll-ups, improve reporting efficiency, surface risks earlier, and support adoption across the team.

Requirements

• Proven experience in delivery, programme coordination, or a PMO-type role within a product and technology environment.
• Strong understanding of agile delivery, planning, and governance, including experience embedding new ways of working across teams and in scaled environments such as SAFe or LeSS.
• Experience coordinating technology and functional business teams and explaining technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Confident facilitation of agile ceremonies, including retrospectives, with the ability to influence through collaboration and buy-in rather than formal authority.
• Scrum or agile certification such as PSM or SAFe.
• Strong organisational discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to assess risk and trade-offs and make decisions under ambiguity.
• Experience with delivery data and tooling, including Jira and Confluence, plus confident use of AI for reporting, delivery administration, and early risk detection; this is a genuine requirement.
• Calm, trusted communication style with reliable relationship-building at all levels and strong ownership.
