Mechanical Engineer (Robotics)

Location: On-site in Hanoi, Vietnam, with 1 day of work from home

What you will do

• Design and develop mechanical assemblies for 3D camera systems, robot accessories, and industrial robotic cells.
• Work on thermal management, structural analysis, material selection, and industrial product design.
• Support the development of robotic application systems for international deployments.
• Build prototypes, conduct simulations, and perform physical testing to validate designs.
• Collaborate with product, software, and AI teams on integrated system designs.
• Maintain design documentation and records of design histories.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3+ years of experience in mechanical design or a similar position.
• Proficiency with at least one CAD tool, such as Onshape, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.
• Experience with industrial product design and packaging design.
• Knowledge of industrial product testing, including dust proofing, waterproofing, drop, and vibration tests.
• Proficiency in spoken and listening English is required for collaboration with global teams.

Nice to have

• Experience developing camera-related industrial products.
• Experience with automation, robotics, or related technologies.
• Practical experience managing materials and import/export activities.
