Senior Software Engineer (Medtech)

Location: Crawley, United Kingdom. Hybrid work pattern: 4 days per week at the Crawley headquarters and 1 day working from home.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications for automated and integrated quality assurance in radiation therapy.
• Build and maintain application components, services, and APIs using C#/.NET and Java.
• Contribute to technical design discussions, software architecture, and solution development.
• Develop reliable, usable, and high-performance software for medical environments.
• Write unit tests, support automated testing in CI/CD pipelines, and participate in code reviews and merges.
• Collaborate in an Agile Scrum team, support other engineers, and improve development practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, STEM, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong professional experience developing full stack web applications.
• Experience with C#/.NET 8+ and Java 17+.
• Experience with unit testing, debugging, and building reliable, maintainable software.
• Experience with modern software development practices, ideally including Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to solve technical problems independently while collaborating with others.

Nice to have

• Experience with Angular v20+ and PostgreSQL v18+.
• Experience with API test automation.
• Software development experience in a regulated environment such as medical devices.
