What you will do

  • Manage end-to-end import and export activities in line with company policies and Indonesian regulations.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain shipping documents, customs declarations, permits, certificates, and supporting records.
  • Coordinate customs clearance with brokers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, trucking companies, authorities, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure documentation readiness and timely clearance to prevent delays, demurrage charges, and operational disruption.
  • Monitor shipment status, report operational risks, and resolve documentation errors, customs queries, and shipment discrepancies.
  • Identify logistics cost savings and process improvements through freight optimization and service-provider negotiations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Maritime Studies, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in import and export, customs clearance, international logistics, freight forwarding, or customs brokerage.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian customs regulations, import/export procedures, and international trade compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with customs clearance, customs brokers, freight forwarders, shipping documents, and PIB declarations.
  • Experience with logistics cost optimization, process improvement, SAP, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Good English communication skills are required for written correspondence and coordination with overseas stakeholders. Strong problem-solving, coordination, and stakeholder management skills are also required.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with royalty-related import processes and customs requirements.
