Solution Engineer (f/m/d) (Identity/SaaS)

Location: Based in Rennes, France; remote work support, flexible working hours, and regular onsite gatherings are offered.

What you will do

• Lead technical discovery and qualify client requirements, conversion targets, fraud exposure, integration constraints, and business KPIs.
• Design end-to-end architectures covering document verification, digital identity, fraud signals, biometric authentication, eID, EU Digital Identity Wallet flows, and e-signature.
• Lead proofs of concept and pilots, configure API integrations, build Postman collections, and manage sandbox environments.
• Guide client developers through API and mobile SDK integration, including webhooks, authentication, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Own the technical path from signature through go-live, including integration mapping, delivery planning, hypercare, and handover to Customer Success and Support.
• Partner with Sales, Product, and internal escalation teams while improving demos, architecture templates, integration guides, and team practices.

Requirements

• Engineering or technical degree, relevant master’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in solutions engineering, technical consulting, or SaaS implementation and onboarding, ideally in identity, FinTech, or security.
• Hands-on experience with APIs, mobile SDKs, Postman, Git, proof-of-concept delivery, and API- or log-level debugging.
• Experience designing integration flows, explaining architecture trade-offs, managing multiple client projects, and delivering integrations to a committed go-live date.
• Strong client-facing communication and the ability to explain complex technical systems to engineers and business stakeholders.
• Fluent English and full professional French are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with identity verification, KYC, KYB, AML, biometrics, liveness detection, eID, or fraud detection.
• Knowledge of eIDAS 2.0, EU Digital Identity Wallets, EU AML Regulation, or GDPR.
• Mobile SDK delivery experience with iOS, Android, or React Native.
• Knowledge of web architecture, webhooks, OAuth, Python, Java, JavaScript, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience in mobility, FinTech, banking, or other regulated industries; additional European languages are a plus.
