Lead Software Developer (DevOps) Cloud/SaaS

Location: On-site in Mississauga, Richmond Hill, or Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 118,000–168,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead DevOps and automation initiatives across software development and operations teams.
• Design and maintain cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
• Build Infrastructure as Code and automation solutions using Terraform and Ansible.
• Maintain reliability through monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Improve performance, security, observability, and operational excellence across a scalable SaaS platform.
• Evaluate AI-powered tools that improve productivity and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software development, DevOps, or cloud-based enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise with Azure, AWS, or GCP, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency in Ansible, Python, and Bash scripting.
• Solid Linux administration, troubleshooting, and production support experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, with excellent English communication skills.
