Quality Assurance/Process Improvement, Sr Specialist

Location: Hybrid role based at the SCE facility in Pomona, California; employees are generally required to work and reside in California. Remote work is available on designated days, with the work mode subject to business needs.

Salary: $101,900–$152,800 per year

What you will do

• Perform quality assurance, business process improvement, audits, and compliance reviews against standard operating procedures.
• Maintain accurate streetlight asset records and process field-driven updates that support billing accuracy and revenue generation.
• Analyze data, develop complex reports, identify trends and root causes, and present recommendations to management.
• Evaluate risks and the effectiveness of quality control processes across the product development lifecycle.
• Support SLA activities and advise stakeholders on data sources, extraction methods, reporting, and performance metrics.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities and recommend process enhancements that improve operational efficiency and data integrity.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in advanced data analytics, reporting, and developing process improvement opportunities.
• Strong analytical skills in data analysis, reporting, performance metrics, and business insights.
• Experience with quality assurance, process audits, risk assessments, and operational workflow analysis.
• Ability to work and reside in California unless otherwise noted.
• Ability to protect confidential customer, financial, medical, proprietary, and cybersecurity information.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience managing streetlight assets and related business processes.
• Experience with planning functions, work order management, and operational workflows.
• Experience implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency and customer service.
