Senior Accountant

Location: Fully remote within the United States

Base salary: $130K–$160K annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Lead the global monthly close process across multiple entities.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and variance analyses.
• Establish scalable intercompany accounting processes and reporting.
• Own accounting areas including vendor spend, accruals, capitalization, leases, and related matters.
• Improve and automate close processes to increase speed, accuracy, and scalability.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and respond to external audit requests.

Requirements

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience at a public or high-growth technology company.
• Hands-on experience owning full-cycle month-end close and strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Ability to independently manage account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Experience with international, multi-entity, and multi-currency accounting.
• Strong communication, ownership, judgment, and continuous-improvement skills.
• Proficiency with modern accounting tools, including Excel.

Nice to have

• CPA or CPA-track status.
• Big Four public accounting experience.
• Experience with Rillet or similar ERP and close-management tools.
