Electronic Security Systems Specialist (CCTV/Access Control)

What you will do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and related electronic security systems.
• Perform job walks, assess installation and redesign needs, and support vendors, subcontractors, commissioning, and facility security projects.
• Process work orders and maintain documentation covering job status, revisions, materials, maintenance, and project records.
• Fabricate, repair, and assemble security hardware while managing tools, replacement parts, and component procurement.
• Develop procedures, train system users, and support Lenel and Avigilon system operations in collaboration with security, IT, Facilities, and system administrators.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• At least five years of experience with electronic security systems such as CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, or fire alarm systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and low-voltage components and interpret technical documentation, schematics, drawings, and floor plans.
• Basic computer skills and experience using work-order or business applications to document work and maintain records.
• Valid driver's license, willingness to travel, and ability to work in tight quarters, at varied heights, and in extreme outdoor conditions.
• U.S. citizenship is required; the role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance and any required licenses, permits, or certifications.

Nice to have

• Experience with scissor lifts, boom lifts, ladders, power tools, hand tools, and calibrated tooling.
• Experience with Lenel access control, Avigilon camera systems, Life Safety Panel hardware, Mercury hardware, and low-voltage access control wiring.
• Lenel or Avigilon certification and experience with Microsoft Office, Jira, Asana, or similar tools.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments and managing multiple priorities and vendor relationships.
