MBA Value Summer Research Associate (Investment Research)

Location: Houston, Texas; must work in person from hirify.global's Houston office. The workplace model requires at least four full days per week in an hirify.global office.

What you will do

• Source, organize, and analyze company, industry, market, and financial data using market databases and research tools.
• Conduct fundamental research on assigned companies and develop expertise in an assigned industry.
• Research business trends, company developments, and economic conditions affecting current and potential holdings.
• Generate investment ideas and develop investment recommendations for the US Value Equity Group.
• Present research on stocks or industries and communicate analysis to investment teams.
• Build relationships with broker/dealer analysts and sales staff, attend team meetings, and complete special research projects.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a first-year MBA student and graduating by summer 2028.
• A demonstrated interest in investments and financial markets.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply accounting, financial, investment, statistical, and economic principles.
• Ability to gather and interpret market data, prioritize work, and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
• Team-oriented, self-starting approach and commitment to continuous learning.
• Must be able to work in person from hirify.global's Houston office.

Nice to have

• At least two years of experience in research or analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
• CFA designation or progress toward it.
