Intern - Credit Analyst

Location: Hybrid role in Boston, MA, United States, with the job information listing the Westborough, MA office and two days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Support commercial lending analysis covering volume, efficiency, portfolio performance, and individual performance.
• Analyze credit data and assess risk when extending credit.
• Learn to approve or deny credit within established authority and applicable state and federal laws.
• Build dealer relationships, conduct joint dealer calls, and make outbound calls to dealer customers.
• Review deal documentation, maintain service levels, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Support branch cooperation and operational efficiency across departments.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, with at least one semester remaining at the internship start.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4-point scale; senior classification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to business leaders.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, conceptual, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while prioritizing deadlines.
• Must be able to work in the hybrid office arrangement; hirify.global does not provide immigration-related sponsorship or work authorization support for this role.

Nice to have

• Previous internship experience.
• Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to improve workflows and research.
• Ability to evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias.
• Understanding of responsible AI use, ethics, and data protection.
