Cyber & Infrastructure Technology Lead Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: On premise in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, United States. Permanent U.S. work authorization is required. Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and eligibility.

Annual base salary: $99,200–$165,400, plus a 12.5% bonus target and eligibility for a share-based long-term incentive program.

What you will do

• Lead the application of cybersecurity regulations, standards, controls, and risk-management practices across assigned systems.
• Own OT and IT infrastructure execution, including monitoring, incident handling, issue resolution, user management, and audit-trail reviews.
• Manage infrastructure and cybersecurity changes through impact assessments, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and approved governance processes.
• Deliver software and hardware lifecycle activities, including patching, upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and end-of-life tasks.
• Direct incident, crisis, and business-continuity response while maintaining data integrity, validated state control, and agreed service levels.
• Govern hirify.global Network Standards operations and execute approved remediation activities such as configuration corrections, rule updates, and network changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience, master’s degree with 2+ years, PhD with 0+ years, associate’s degree with 8+ years, or high school diploma with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting cybersecurity controls, networked systems, or infrastructure in validated or compliance-driven environments such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing.
• Strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, project-management, and people-management skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing projects within timelines and budgets.
• Familiarity with infrastructure lifecycle management, including patching, upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and end-of-life activities.
• Candidates must be authorized to work permanently in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Plant network and manufacturing automation systems experience, including OT networking.
• Pharmaceutical experience and a master’s degree.
• Experience with IT systems, electrical engineering, robotics, automated systems, or clinical and regulatory environments.
• Experience using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, including responsible AI and risk-management practices.
