VP, Cybersecurity Technology Engineer

Location: New York, United States; hybrid work model with in-office and work-from-home flexibility.

Salary: $143,000–$181,000 base salary per year; eligible for a discretionary bonus program.

What you will do

• Support the CISO in delivering cybersecurity, technology, resilience, governance, privileged-access, and change-management priorities.
• Coordinate security projects across technology, business, risk, legal, compliance, audit, and global security teams.
• Track cybersecurity projects, regulatory requirements, action items, remediation activities, risks, dependencies, milestones, and outcomes.
• Support secure use of Frontier AI through risk assessments, security controls, governance monitoring, and architecture reviews.
• Coordinate ransomware readiness and cyber recovery activities, including scenario testing, tabletop exercises, service-dependency analysis, and remediation tracking.
• Prepare management updates and translate complex technical and risk matters into actionable roadmaps and decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, information systems, risk management, business, or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, technology, cyber resilience, security governance, or technical program management within a complex enterprise.
• Experience leading cybersecurity or technology programs involving global stakeholders, technical teams, risk functions, auditors, or regulators.
• Strong knowledge of AI security, ransomware resilience, cyber recovery, security architecture, Red/Blue team practices, and modern security technologies.
• Ability to translate technical and risk matters into roadmaps, executive decisions, measurable outcomes, and risk reduction.
• Program and portfolio management experience covering governance, dependencies, risks, issues, implementation readiness, and benefits realization.

Nice to have

• Experience in a highly regulated financial services environment.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP, PMP, or equivalent cybersecurity and program-management credentials.
• Experience with cyber regulatory readiness, operational excellence, automation, and emerging-technology risk.
