Staff Engineer, Brand

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for strategic, complex, and business-critical initiatives across the Brand platform.
• Define architecture, system boundaries, scalable patterns, and APIs for cross-team product and platform initiatives.
• Lead technical strategy, project decomposition, and execution from discovery through delivery.
• Partner with product, design, data, and platform teams to align technical decisions with customer and business outcomes.
• Reduce technical risks, dependencies, and operational complexity while improving reliability and maintainability.
• Raise engineering standards through design reviews, code reviews, coaching, mentorship, observability, and operational readiness.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including architecture and delivery of complex distributed systems.
• Experience operating as a Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, or equivalent senior technical leader across multiple teams or domains.
• Strong systems-design skills and the ability to make pragmatic trade-offs across performance, reliability, security, scalability, and developer experience.
• Experience leading initiatives requiring coordination across engineering, product, design, data, and platform teams.
• Strong communication, technical influence, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required; no new employment visa sponsorship is offered.
