Software Engineer (Hybrid, Brentwood, NY or NYC)

Location: Hybrid work based in Edgewood, NY, with work locations in Brentwood, NY or NYC

Salary: $100,000 per year; bonus eligible

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, debug, document, and deploy secure, scalable, and maintainable software.
• Translate business and technical requirements into application designs and development plans.
• Develop new application logic and analyze, modify, and maintain existing applications.
• Review business processes and system requirements to support technical decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams on application enhancements and system improvements.
• Contribute technical expertise throughout the software development lifecycle and provide informal guidance to new team members.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software development and application systems environments.
• Proficiency in some or all of .NET, C#, Python, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, and Angular.
• Understanding of software engineering procedures, concepts, standards, and related technical disciplines.
• Ability to understand business drivers and deliver effective technical solutions within established guidelines.
• Ability to evaluate solutions, resolve straightforward technical problems, and communicate complex information clearly.
• Ability to work in the specified hybrid locations in New York.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of AWS application development.
