Senior Android Developer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
• Define, design, and ship mobile features in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Integrate external data sources, REST services, JSON, third-party libraries, and APIs.
• Improve application performance, quality, responsiveness, and maintainability through code reviews, debugging, and automation.
• Collaborate with design and product teams on user experience, project planning, sprint planning, and estimation.
• Mentor junior developers and share technical knowledge with the team.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of professional Android development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience with Java and Kotlin, plus strong knowledge of JavaScript and familiarity with frontend frameworks.
• Experience with the Android SDK, multiple Android versions, different screen sizes, and the full mobile development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of Android UI design principles, cloud messaging APIs, push notifications, unit testing, test automation, and test-driven development.
• Proficiency with Git, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
