Senior Android Engineer, Futures (Crypto)

What you will do

• Design and implement user-facing features for global Android applications.
• Deliver high-performance, stable, efficient code with strong user experience and polished design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship features at scale.
• Integrate and optimize third-party data sources and APIs for accurate, real-time performance.
• Write unit tests, troubleshoot issues, fix critical bugs, and improve application performance.
• Contribute to technical, architectural, and product discussions across short-term execution and long-term planning.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of Android development experience and a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent background.
• Strong Kotlin and Java skills with solid object-oriented programming principles.
• Deep knowledge of Android system architecture, component lifecycles, and UI rendering.
• Experience with Jetpack, ViewModel, Room, Retrofit, OkHttp, MVVM or MVI, modular app structures, and large-scale projects.
• Experience optimizing memory, layouts, battery usage, and cold-start performance using Profiler, Systrace, Perfetto, and LeakCanary.
• Experience with WebSocket, real-time data, and high-concurrency or low-latency scenarios, plus strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Flutter or Compose.
• Experience with large-app architecture, refactoring, or cryptocurrency exchanges.
