Location: On-site in Foster City, California, United States

Salary: $30 per hour

Zoox is an autonomous ride-hailing company developing fully electric, purpose-built robotaxis and autonomous transportation technology.

What you will do

Learn how Zoox simulation systems work.
Develop software in C++ and Python to build simulations from external data.
Review generated simulations, identify issues, and drive improvements.
Meet with teams across Zoox to understand use cases and support adoption of simulation tools.
Use Claude Code to accelerate software development and project progress.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a relevant B.S. or M.S. program.
Experience with software development in C++ and Python.
Ability to use Claude Code to support software generation and development.
Must be local to Foster City, California and able to work on-site.
Available for at least six months and a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Must comply with Zoox confidentiality requirements and avoid sharing proprietary information outside Zoox.
