Software Engineer, Intern - Foster City 2027

Location: US - Foster City, CA; hybrid work with at least 3 days in the office. Travel required 5–10% of the time.

Salary: $46–$55 per hour for U.S. applicants.

What you will do

• Contribute to technology projects across hirify.global’s payment and banking platforms during a 12-week internship.
• Develop self-service deployment solutions for Kafka clusters using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build natural language chatbot, monitoring, testing, mobile banking, and payment automation solutions.
• Design, code, and test software for routing digital currency transactions and improving hirify.global Checkout usability.
• Support full software lifecycle activities and learn secure coding practices.
• Collaborate with technology teams and present project achievements and recommendations to hirify.global leaders.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS/MIS, Cybersecurity, Business, or a related field.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in writing and verbally.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in one or more of Java, C/C++, C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript, or HTML.
• Experience with automation or testing tools such as Selenium, REST, Python, or Groovy.
• Familiarity with software testing principles and strong understanding of software engineering concepts and methodologies.
• Ability to document processes, perform analysis, solve problems, and handle ambiguity effectively.
• Collaborative, team-oriented, motivated, resourceful, and results-focused approach.
