Senior or Staff Infrastructure Security Engineer (AI)

Location: NYC, USA; on-site at the designated Suno office five days per week. Applicants must be eligible to work in the US.

Annual salary: $276,960–$363,510 plus target equity and benefits.

Suno is a consumer entertainment company building an AI-powered creative music platform used by millions of people.

What you will do

• Build infrastructure threat models covering cloud, Kubernetes, GPU compute platforms, and networking.
• Harden AWS EKS clusters, GPU environments, and infrastructure-as-code pipelines.
• Design secure defaults and paved paths, including trusted base images, network segmentation, and scoped access.
• Define infrastructure detections and alerts with the Detection & Response team and support investigations when alerts fire.
• Partner with Platform Engineering and the wider engineering organization to implement security changes.
• Help shape a growing Security team while securing the infrastructure behind Suno's AI music platform.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in infrastructure security or adjacent fields.
• Engineering experience building secure-by-default tooling and paved paths.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native security, preferably AWS, plus Kubernetes and container security.
• Knowledge of image provenance and software supply chain security, or the ability to learn these areas quickly.
• Strong coding skills for building security tooling and implementing fixes independently.
• End-to-end ownership of security projects and the ability to collaborate in a greenfield environment.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying a cloud security posture management platform.
• Experience securing AI or GPU compute platforms or serverless container environments.
• Experience maintaining infrastructure-as-code deployment pipelines, including approvals, state management, or policy checks.
