Senior QA Engineer (Manual & Automation Testing)

Location: Hybrid in Bucharest, Romania, or Helsinki, Finland

What you will do

• Plan and execute the full testing lifecycle, including test strategy, estimation, scenarios, execution, and reporting.
• Perform manual and automated testing of banking software, APIs, microservices, middleware, mobile applications, and web frontends.
• Create and maintain automated regression test suites using appropriate automation tools and programming languages.
• Prepare and maintain test data, manage defects, and produce test summary reports and quality metrics.
• Identify product risks and apply risk-based testing practices within Agile Scrum project teams.
• Collaborate with development and project teams using Jira, Confluence, SQL, Postman, Kibana, and the ELK stack.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in manual and automation testing.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Experience with test scenarios, test planning, test strategy, test estimation, defect management, test levels, and testing methodologies.
• Strong API testing experience with REST/SOAP and hands-on experience with API microservices, services, and middleware modules.
• Experience testing Android and iOS mobile applications and Angular web frontends.
• Working knowledge of Java or JavaScript, plus technical proficiency with Zephyr Scale or TestRail, Jira, Confluence, SQL, Postman, Kibana, and the ELK stack.
• Good command of English required.

• Experience with Appium and Selenium.
• Experience with banking software administration, processes, and products.
• Experience leveraging AI technologies for analysis, content generation, process automation, and continuous improvement.
