Data QA Engineer (Python)

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and enhance automated tests for backend systems and data pipeline workflows.
• Test data ingestion, transformation, and processing in the Sync application and Delivery Streams platform.
• Validate data integrity across backend services and storage platforms.
• Generate, automate, and improve test coverage using AI-based testing agents, including integration into the Sync repository.
• Design and maintain scalable automated test suites, analyze results, and investigate defects.
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA engineers, and product teams in Agile ceremonies and delivery activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SDET, quality assurance, or test automation.
• Strong experience with backend testing, data platforms, data pipelines, and backend services.
• Proficiency in Python and working knowledge of SQL, including complex data-validation queries.
• Experience with Snowflake, Apache Iceberg, Kafka, Git, and version-control workflows.
• Experience working in Agile development environments and independently across multiple teams and products.
• Upper-Intermediate to Advanced English, written and spoken, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Robot Framework.
• Experience with AI-assisted testing tools, AI testing agents, or AI-based testing solutions.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing in deployment workflows.
