Senior Linux Administrator (Linux/RHEL)

Location: Hybrid in Bucharest, Romania

What you will do

• Administer, monitor, provision, patch, tune, and troubleshoot on-premises Linux systems, primarily RHEL and occasionally OEL.
• Automate system administration tasks using Ansible and related tools.
• Manage Red Hat Satellite, IDM, virtualization environments, and Linux-based network and security services.
• Support VMware and KVM platforms, as well as Podman and Docker containerized environments.
• Configure monitoring, metrics, and alerting with tools such as Zabbix and ELK.
• Collaborate with network teams to maintain secure, stable, and efficient infrastructure operations.

Requirements

• Hybrid work in Bucharest, Romania.
• 5+ years of experience in Linux systems administration, with a focus on RHEL.
• Practical experience with Ansible and automation tools.
• Solid knowledge of VMware and KVM hypervisors.
• Strong networking fundamentals, including firewalls, routing, and VLANs.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring and logging tools.

Nice to have

• Red Hat certifications such as RHCSA or RHCE.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
