TL;DR
Storage Operations Engineer (SAN/Storage Infrastructure): Maintaining and scaling enterprise SAN and storage environments across more than 10 data centers with an accent on high availability, performance, reliability, and secure lifecycle management. Focus on automating operations, troubleshooting connectivity and performance issues, planning capacity, and executing firmware and software upgrades.
Location: Romania; remote or office work

What you will do
- Maintain resilient, scalable SAN and storage infrastructure across more than 10 data centers.
- Monitor, analyze, and resolve storage connectivity, visibility, and performance issues.
- Provision and administer storage environments, including zoning and deprovisioning.
- Improve operational efficiency through scripting, automation, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Plan capacity and analyze storage growth trends to support future demand.
- Manage hardware, firmware, software, code, and patch upgrades across the storage lifecycle.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing enterprise storage environments with multiple storage arrays and Fibre Channel switches.
- Experience with enterprise platforms such as Dell EMC, NetApp, Pure Storage, HPE, Hitachi, or Infinidat, and Cisco MDS FC switches.
- Strong knowledge of Fibre Channel, SCSI, NFS, multipathing, RAID, provisioning, deduplication, and data compression.
- Experience with snapshots, synchronous and asynchronous replication, and storage integration with VMware and Cisco UCS.
- Scripting and automation skills with PowerShell, Python, or Ansible.
- Willingness to participate in on-call support and incident response activities.
