Data Analyst (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Brockville, Ontario, Canada. Travel may include up to 5% domestic or international travel. Relocation is not offered.

Expected compensation: CAD 73,450–96,955, including base pay and variable incentive pay where applicable.

What you will do

• Gather, clean, validate, and analyze manufacturing and operational data from multiple systems.
• Develop recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, visualizations, Power BI reports, Power Apps, and Power Automate flows.
• Monitor production KPIs including output, cycle time, yield, scrap, downtime, and asset performance.
• Identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities using statistical and analytical methods.
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement through data insights and performance tracking.
• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, quality, maintenance, and supply chain stakeholders to define reporting requirements and present recommendations.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or higher, completed and verified before starting.
• Must be a Canadian citizen normally residing in Canada or a permanent resident normally residing in Canada to obtain the required Controlled Goods clearance.
• Successful security clearance under the Canadian Controlled Goods Registration program is mandatory.
• Strong skills in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Power BI and Grafana.
• Experience with operational or production data, dashboards, manufacturing KPIs, and performance reports.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Analytics.
• Two years of experience in data analysis within manufacturing, operations, or supply chain environments.
• Experience with Python, R, ERP, MES, historian, or other manufacturing data systems.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence methodologies.
