STARS Improvement Professional 2 (Healthcare Analytics)

Location: Remote, but must be located in the State of Florida. Occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $71,100–$97,800 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Analyze Stars measure performance, trends, care gaps, and improvement opportunities across Florida Medicare Advantage markets.
• Support dashboard development, report validation, and measure-level performance monitoring with analytics partners.
• Monitor intervention progress, performance results, and the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives.
• Prepare reports, presentations, dashboards, and summaries for leadership and business partners.
• Partner with market teams, provider groups, quality teams, clinical operations, pharmacy, and analytics stakeholders.
• Ensure initiatives align with compliance requirements, business objectives, and quality improvement priorities.

Requirements

• Experience in healthcare, quality improvement, Stars, analytics, and operations.
• Working knowledge of CMS Star Ratings, HEDIS, and medication adherence.
• Experience writing, modifying, and interpreting SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, data validation, and conditional formatting.
• Must live in the State of Florida.
• Ability to work from a dedicated space and maintain internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, public health, analytics, information systems, nursing, or a related field.
• Experience with CAHPS and HOS measures.
• Experience querying healthcare claims, membership, provider, pharmacy, clinical, quality, or care gap data.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting and analytics tools.
