TL;DR
Fullstack Java / Angular Developer (Java/Spring Boot/Angular): Modernising business-critical financial processes by replacing legacy Excel and Access tools with supported, scalable applications and microservices with an accent on full-stack delivery, automated testing, and production support. Focus on analysing requirements, designing Java and Angular solutions, integrating APIs, and delivering releases across the complete application lifecycle.
Location: Remote within the EU, with occasional on-site attendance in Luxembourg for approximately 5 working days per year.

What you will do
- Gather and clarify business requirements and analyse legacy processes and applications.
- Design, develop, and support Java and Angular applications and microservices.
- Build backend services with Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate, and develop Angular frontends integrated with backend APIs.
- Write automated unit and integration tests and support system, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Prepare releases, deployments, change-management activities, and production support.
- Maintain technical and operational documentation and communicate with stakeholders in Agile ceremonies.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on professional Java development experience, including production releases.
- Strong experience with Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Proven experience writing and maintaining automated unit and integration tests.
- Experience with Git-based team development, code review, SQL, relational databases, XML, YAML, JSON, and microservices.
- Experience using AI coding agents such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Codex for implementation, modification, review, or testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent professional experience; must be based within the EU and able to travel occasionally to Luxembourg.
