Junior Invest Operations Associate

Location: Remote, with optional access to office space in Irvine, California. Community week onsite gatherings may be required.

Salary: $52,500–$61,500 per year, plus potential equity grants, discretionary cash bonuses, and benefits.

What you will do

• Resolve high-volume customer emails and operational cases involving account updates, asset transfers, and account reviews.
• Process ACH disputes, asset verification requests, legal levies, incoming mail, and fax inquiries.
• Handle 3210 letter requests, outgoing asset transfers, and incoming rollovers in partnership with the Advisors team.
• Help customers update funding sources and resolve complex account inquiries.
• Investigate account unlock requests, verify documentation, and distinguish fraudulent activity from false positives.
• Work with the Team Lead and cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks and improve tools, infrastructure, and operational priorities.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in investment, banking, or financial operations.
• High attention to detail and consistent accuracy when handling operational tasks and large case queues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build customer trust.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, identify and escalate issues, and make decisions using data, documentation, and judgment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including possible evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Employment eligibility is verified through E-Verify.

• Experience handling customer-facing financial operations or complex account issues.
• Experience investigating fraud indicators or account security cases.
