Lead Engineers (Data Engineering)

Location: 100% remote from anywhere in the United States; employer location listed as Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts.

Salary: $150,000–$160,000 annually, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive award.

What you will do

• Support ETL workflows, data lake processes, and Oracle and SQL data warehouse platforms.
• Monitor production processes, troubleshoot urgent failures, restart jobs, and resolve technical issues.
• Analyze data discrepancies, identify root causes, implement code changes, and validate solutions.
• Lead technical upgrades, infrastructure changes, load testing, and performance testing.
• Create smaller-scale ETL and reporting processes and collaborate with internal business partners.
• Mentor team members and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve data issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, computer or electronics engineering, or a closely related technical field; foreign equivalent degrees accepted.
• At least five years of progressive experience in data engineering, data engineering support, or a related occupation.
• Experience with system administration, software development, performance testing, load testing, and coding best practices.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, Hadoop, or Qlik.
• Experience with job scheduling tools such as Autosys or Control-M and with IBM DataStage.
• Must be able to work remotely from anywhere in the United States.
