Plumbing Engineering Intern - Summer 2027 (Plumbing Design)

Location: On-site in Houston, Texas, United States; limited travel is required.

What you will do

• Learn and apply the basic principles of plumbing design engineering.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers and technical specialists.
• Contribute to meaningful projects across different building types, markets, and project locations.
• Gain exposure to the full construction project lifecycle, from design through construction.
• Develop proficiency with industry-standard CAD and engineering software.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Interest in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry, particularly plumbing system design.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and tasks.
• Ability to work on-site in Houston and at project locations as needed.

Nice to have

• Familiarity or proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
• Understanding of engineering analysis tools.
