Senior Program Manager, Data Center Delivery & Site Readiness

Location: Hybrid in Austin, TX; San Francisco, CA; or New York, NY. Candidates progressing to the offer stage may be asked to attend an in-person interview at a hirify.global office or hub.

What you will do

• Lead data center builds and expansions from vendor selection and contract negotiation through construction, commissioning, and operational handover.
• Coordinate MEP installation, white space fit-out, rack-level power, structured cabling, equipment staging, validation, and commissioning.
• Manage delivery schedules, equipment arrivals, service activation, deployment dependencies, field issues, and recovery plans.
• Source and manage site services including temporary power and water, security, waste management, and facilities support.
• Negotiate multi-site supplier agreements, rate cards, service-level commitments, and change orders.
• Track budgets, forecasts, risks, and scope changes while developing repeatable site-readiness and delivery playbooks.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in technical program management, construction management, or infrastructure delivery, including at least 5 years on data center or high-density infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing data center providers or general contractors on behalf of an owner, including contracts, schedules, and scope changes.
• Hands-on sourcing experience for site services or indirect categories in multi-site industrial environments.
• Knowledge of data center MEP systems, white space delivery, structured cabling, rack-level power distribution, compute staging, and integration.
• Experience managing substantial infrastructure budgets and dependencies across multiple projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-density GPU deployments and liquid cooling systems.
• Experience with fast-track or modular data center construction.
• Experience with utility coordination, security services contracting, or facilities management agreements.
• PMP or an equivalent project management credential.
