Principal Technical Program Manager (AI)

Location: San Diego or Mountain View, California, United States

Base pay: $219,500–$297,000 per year, with potential cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead strategic technical programs and portfolios across hirify.global’s Consumer Group.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and Business Operations.
• Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, architectural misalignment, and execution bottlenecks.
• Build six-quarter capability roadmaps aligned with product and business strategies.
• Define program frameworks, operating cadences, milestones, and measurable success metrics.
• Improve program management practices and coach other technical program managers.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience delivering complex, large-scale technical programs and portfolios in a matrixed organization.
• Deep knowledge of software development approaches, architecture, and lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience directing and orchestrating AI agent tools in complex program operations.
• Strong strategic thinking, prioritization, communication, change leadership, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• PMP, Agile certification, or equivalent practical technical program management experience is desired.

Nice to have

• PMP or Agile certification.
• Builder proficiency with autonomous agents or demonstrated ability to reach it.
