QA Lead (Cyberpunk 2)

Location: Boston, United States; in-office in a hybrid or full-time capacity.

Salary: $112,100–$154,200 USD annually, with possible eligibility for a long-term incentive program.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop the gameplay QA team while establishing accountability, role clarity, and skill growth.
• Translate the Cyberpunk 2 QA strategy into practical testing approaches, team priorities, and measurable outcomes.
• Own testing execution, milestone verification, gameplay quality standards, and project readiness.
• Analyze quality metrics, KPIs, and bug trends to identify risks and create mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with production, development, technical teams, QA experts, cross-functional teams, and external QA vendors.
• Improve QA workflows, tools, documentation, reporting, testing frameworks, and technical investigation practices.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience leading QA teams, including performance management, mentoring, and career development.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, defect management, test planning, test coverage, QA practices, and quality reporting.
• Experience with game engines and editors, preferably Unreal Engine.
• Experience developing and executing integration, performance, stability, engine, tools, and platform validation strategies.
• Hands-on experience with performance profiling, Unreal Insights, crash debugging, memory analysis, or console testing.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, ownership, accountability, and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with user experience research, focus groups, usability testing, and player feedback.
• Experience with automation frameworks, automated test authorship, build verification, CI/CD pipelines, or technical validation workflows.
• Interest in the Cyberpunk universe and experience delivering high-quality player experiences in large-scale RPGs.
