Composite Analyst (GIPS)

Location: Boston, MA, United States; employees work from the office 4 days per week with flexibility to work remotely 1 day per week.

Base salary: USD 80,000–150,000 per year, plus potential bonus, incentives, and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain expertise in the Global Investment Performance Standards and related CFA Institute guidance.
• Create, maintain, and oversee GIPS Composite Reports in partnership with Product Management.
• Oversee composite construction, membership integrity, benchmark assignments, disclosures, and account-specific events.
• Prepare and present materials for the monthly Composite Working Group and implement approved decisions.
• Provide guidance on composite performance, investment discretion, client guideline changes, and complex GIPS matters.
• Improve composite governance policies, procedures, controls, workflows, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• Practical ability to interpret GIPS standards and advise on composite construction, investment discretion, risk disclosures, and benchmark appropriateness.
• Knowledge of GIPS Composite Reports and investment performance measurement practices.
• Strong analytical, written, verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tactical and strategic priorities in a changing environment.
• Strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, collaboration, and ability to communicate complex information clearly.
• Two or more years of relevant experience in investment performance, GIPS compliance, product management, investment operations, performance reporting, or a related field are preferred.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of equity, fixed income, multi-asset, and alternative investment strategies.
• CFA and/or CIPM certification.
• Strong academic credentials.
