What you will do

• Support the design, configuration, testing, and delivery of decisioning software solutions for financial services clients.
• Translate business requirements and solution designs into rules, workflows, and software configurations.
• Use credit bureau and client data to support credit risk and lending solutions.
• Perform testing and data validation checks, investigate defects, and help resolve software issues.
• Create business, functional, and technical documentation and provide project progress updates.
• Support implementation, change requests, issue resolution, and post-production activities with colleagues, clients, and partners.

Requirements

• Interest in technology, data, software configuration, and solving business problems.
• Logical thinking and the ability to analyse issues, interpret requirements, and break work into clear steps.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and confidence working collaboratively.
• Degree, diploma, apprenticeship, bootcamp, relevant coursework, or equivalent practical experience in a related subject.
• Basic programming or scripting knowledge in at least one language, such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C, C++, C#, or Lua.
• Basic understanding of SQL, databases, spreadsheets, data validation, and Microsoft Excel and Word.

Nice to have

• Exposure to software testing, test cases, defect investigation, APIs, data structures, or system configuration.
• Awareness of financial services, lending, credit risk, or automated decision-making.
• Experience contributing to a group technical project or explaining technical information to others.
