Sr. Scientist (Elastomer - Polymer - Rubber - Materials)

What you will do

• Develop proprietary perfluoroelastomer formulations, composites, and process technologies for semiconductor and demanding industrial applications.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert in elastomers, rubber compound formulations, material selection, and performance optimization.
• Translate customer needs and application challenges into new specialty sealing products and improved existing products.
• Collaborate with customers, R&D, product development, manufacturing, engineering, and global technology teams from concept through commercialization.
• Conduct theoretical and experimental investigations, performance evaluations, quantitative analyses, and technical documentation.
• Support manufacturing process capability, technology launches, technical presentations, patents, and industry collaboration.

Requirements

• PhD in Applied Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Science, or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience defining customer needs, planning and conducting performance evaluations, and driving new product or application development.
• Broad technical interest across semiconductor and industrial markets and applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to solve complex problems independently and evaluate information from multiple sources.
• Compliance with safety guidelines, business ethics, and internal control processes.
