Senior Engineer II- Applications (Embedded Systems)

What you will do

• Develop data sheets, application notes, technical briefs, code libraries, and design objective specifications.
• Support new product definition, validation, and introduction for EEPROM, Flash, SRAM, EERAM, and RTCC products.
• Provide technical assistance to customers and field engineering teams on hardware and software design challenges.
• Develop and deliver technical training for customers, field applications engineers, and field sales.
• Create demonstrations and presentations for trade shows and customer engagements.
• Work with worldwide cross-functional teams to deliver quality projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar engineering discipline.
• 7.5–10 years of experience with embedded systems design and software programming techniques.
• Experience with embedded hardware, board development, and firmware design.
• Strong C, C++, and Python development skills in an embedded environment.
• Familiarity with I2C and SPI protocols, real-world debugging, and problem-solving.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; the role is based in Chandler, Arizona.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microchip and Atmel development tools, products, and solutions.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, debuggers, and protocol analyzers.
• Familiarity with schematic and layout capture tools for PCB development.
