Lead Electrical Engineer (Printed Circuit Board Design)

What you will do

• Design, modify, review, and validate rigid, flexible, and rigid-flex printed circuit boards.
• Use Mentor PADS and Expedition to incorporate schematic, mechanical, and manufacturing inputs into HDI PCB designs.
• Create PCB stack-ups, model-controlled impedance, and complex layouts for RF, digital, analog, power, and mixed technologies.
• Collaborate with design, fabrication, assembly, manufacturing, and test teams to resolve technical issues.
• Lead PCB design software assessments and upgrades while maintaining guidelines, templates, checklists, and procedures.
• Perform peer reviews, support suppliers with technical questions, and mentor less experienced PCB designers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 9 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree and at least 7 years of related experience.
• Applicants without a degree must have at least 13 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with PCB schematics, materials, fabrication, assembly, components, documentation, and related design or simulation tools.
• Experience with complex PCB layout reviews, mentoring, and onboarding of less experienced designers.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Secret security clearance; security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
