Senior QA Engineer (AI-First & Automation)

Location: 100% remote

Salary: 16,000–22,000 PLN net/month on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Define the QA automation strategy using modern tools such as Cursor and Playwright.
• Automate critical application paths and establish practical testing standards.
• Build test infrastructure for local, ad hoc, and CI/CD execution.
• Coach developers to create and maintain tests as code is written in a shift-left approach.
• Lead quality practices and decide which areas require automation or continued manual testing.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in quality engineering and test automation.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks, preferably Playwright.
• Ability to write production-quality code in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or a similar language.
• Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience mentoring developers and influencing testing practices.
• Commercial experience with AI-assisted development tools and fluent English and Polish at B2+ level are required.

Hiring process

• Recruiter interview lasting 45–60 minutes, including role-related questions in Polish and English.
• Technical interview lasting 60–90 minutes.
• 60-minute conversation with the future Team Leader, the VP of Engineering.
