Senior Fullstack Engineer (Python)

Location: Hybrid in Barcelona, Spain or Paris, France; work from home during the week with an office gathering once a month. Remote work from abroad is available for up to 15 days per year.

What you will do

• Design and deliver scalable fullstack solutions for the Booking team in collaboration with Product and Design.
• Build features for classes, waiting lists, teacher substitutions, cancellations, appointments, calendars, passes, and credits.
• Integrate and maintain communication with third-party class aggregators and evolve access-control solutions for self-service gyms.
• Write robust, efficient, and maintainable code using AI-assisted workflows, testing, code reviews, and continuous delivery.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor less experienced engineers, and contribute to frontend and backend engineering chapters.
• Investigate production incidents, improve alerting, document root causes, and drive follow-up improvements with Customer teams.

Requirements

• Substantial professional experience with Python; Django experience is advantageous.
• Ability to work across data modeling and networking and make sound implementation decisions.
• Experience building systems at scale for tens of millions of users.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Ownership mindset with the ability to contribute to product and design decisions.
• Interest in domain-driven development, cross-functional leadership, and responsible AI-assisted workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with Django.
