Fullstack Developer (Java/Spring Boot)

What you will do

• Own features end to end, from problem definition and solution design through production release and validation.
• Build across the stack, with a stronger focus on backend systems and business logic.
• Operate the production platform and improve reliability, performance, observability, and security.
• Build integrations, automations, internal tools, and AI-powered features.
• Collaborate with Tax, Accounting, Growth, and Operations while improving architecture, testing, developer experience, and engineering standards.
• Review code, mentor engineers, and participate in hiring.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and operating production software.
• Strong backend engineering experience and solid system design fundamentals.
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot, or the ability to become productive with them quickly.
• Strong PostgreSQL knowledge, including data modelling and query performance.
• Ability to work with React or Next.js when needed.
• Experience owning production systems, with strong fundamentals in clean code, testing, security, and autonomous problem-solving.

Nice to have

• Experience building regulated, auditable, or high-stakes software.
• Experience designing an early-stage platform or working at a startup.
• Experience with security, privacy, sensitive financial data, event-driven systems, or asynchronous systems.
• Experience building AI-powered products or using AI-assisted development tools.
