Senior Backend Engineer (Agentic AI)

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate scalable backend services in Python.
• Build and integrate LLM-based agents using prompt orchestration, tool and function calling, and agentic architecture patterns.
• Own data modeling and database design for complex production systems.
• Connect backend and AI capabilities to user-facing applications.
• Containerize and deploy services in AWS environments.
• Build automated testing and CI pipelines while applying secure SDLC practices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building production-level backend services in Python.
• Strong experience with modern Python frameworks, preferably asynchronous frameworks such as FastAPI.
• Production experience building or integrating LLM-based agents, including prompt orchestration, tool or function calling, and agentic architectures.
• Practical experience with data modeling and database design.
• Working knowledge of frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Experience with Docker, AWS services, automated testing, CI pipelines, and secure software development.

Nice to have

• Cybersecurity domain experience.
• Kubernetes experience, particularly with self-managed or on-premises clusters.
• Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone or Milvus, embedding-based retrieval, or RAG systems.
• Experience with AI-agent evaluation, guardrails, or observability tools.
• Experience in air-gapped, highly regulated, or secure enterprise environments.
