Senior Fullstack Engineer (Java/Kotlin)

Location: Hybrid role for candidates in Latin America, with Colombia specified

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable backend and frontend solutions.
• Participate in architectural design and technical decision-making.
• Develop REST APIs and complex integrations.
• Own production quality, monitoring, and operational improvements.
• Collaborate across globally distributed engineering teams.
• Mentor engineers and help shape technical direction.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Java and Kotlin skills, plus experience with Go.
• Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful services, and relational databases.
• Experience with AWS and infrastructure, including cloud operations and monitoring.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD.
• Ability to work independently.

Nice to have

• Front-end development experience with React.
• Experience with API migration, legacy integration, and maintaining partner contracts during API upgrades.
• Experience with GraphQL and large-scale production systems.
• Experience in globally distributed engineering organizations.
