Software Development Engineer (Fullstack)

Location: Bogota, Colombia; hybrid working model

hirify.global develops travel technology that powers airline operations and supports global air travel, including a Flight Management platform used by more than 150 airlines.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain the Flight Management application across the full stack.
• Build web interfaces with Angular or React, TypeScript/JavaScript, SPA architecture, component-based design, and monorepo structures.
• Develop backend services in Java or C++ and create RESTful APIs with JSON integrations.
• Write unit, integration, and regression tests, including Python-based test automation.
• Work with business and quality assurance analysts on scoping, solution reviews, regression fixes, and release preparation.
• Participate in architectural reviews, continuous improvement, and rotational production support.

Requirements

• Fluent English.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of professional experience developing enterprise-grade software.
• Experience with Angular or React, TypeScript/JavaScript, SPA architecture, monorepo tooling, and UI testing.
• Object-oriented development in Java or C++, including concurrency and performance fundamentals.
• Python test automation with PyTest, Oracle RDBMS with SQL, RESTful API development, and EDIFACT messaging.

Nice to have

• Experience with PL/SQL.
• Practical experience evaluating alternative technologies and presenting them for architectural review.
