Principal, Fund Operations (Private Credit)

Location: Dallas, Texas; hybrid workplace with at least four full days per week working in an hirify.global office. The role supports stakeholders in the U.S. and Europe.

Salary: $170,000–$200,000 per year for the New York City, New York position; total compensation also includes incentive pay.

What you will do

• Support the operational launch and ongoing oversight of a cross-border evergreen private credit fund, including structuring, vehicle and share-class setup, administrator implementation, governance, controls, reporting, and lifecycle management.
• Oversee cash forecasting, capital calls, distributions, subscriptions, redemptions, credit facilities, covenant compliance, and liquidity planning.
• Build and maintain fund models, projections, performance metrics, fee calculations, waterfalls, investor allocations, and dashboards.
• Coordinate compliance with governing documents, side letters, investment guidelines, regulatory requirements, debt agreements, and internal policies.
• Prepare investor and management reporting, fund presentations, due diligence responses, regulatory filings, and client deliverables.
• Improve procedures, reconciliations, controls, data governance, and issue management through systems, automation, and artificial intelligence; coordinate across Portfolio, Product, Accounting, Legal, Tax, Compliance, Investor Relations, and external advisors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in private credit fund operations, fund finance, fund accounting oversight, or a related role.
• Required expertise in direct lending, distressed credit investments, and evergreen fund structures.
• Strong knowledge of private credit fund structures, investor allocations, capital activity, management and incentive fees, credit facilities, liquidity management, valuation, and third-party administrator operating models.
• Experience launching or operating complex private credit products and managing multiple vehicles, feeders, sleeves, or share classes.
• Ability to lead cross-functional work, oversee external providers, resolve complex issues, and implement scalable processes and controls.

• Advanced degree or CPA.
• Registered Investment Company experience.
