Field Application Engineer (AI)

Location: Beijing, Shenzhen, or Shanghai, China. Travel to domestic and international customer sites is required as needed.

hirify.global is a software company developing ultrasound-based machine-learning algorithms for touchless gesture, proximity, and presence sensing on low-power embedded systems used in smartphones, laptops, and IoT devices.

What you will do

• Provide system-level technical support throughout customer product development and manufacturing.
• Support prototype implementation through production projects.
• Visit customer sites to deliver technical support, demonstrations, training, installations, and troubleshooting.
• Analyze customer technical requirements, product direction, and implementation needs.
• Present products and solutions to current and prospective customers, including live demonstrations.
• Work with the sales team to close new business opportunities.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience supporting software development or applications in C/C++ or Python.
• Experience with Android, especially Android multimedia or sensor frameworks.
• Ability to debug portable devices using ADB, Linux tools, and Windows tools.
• Experience providing both pre-sales and project support, with strong communication and coordination skills.
• Understanding of digital signal processing, audio and acoustics, and analog and digital audio design.

Nice to have

• Participation in a design win supporting Huawei or Lenovo.
• Experience with sensor integration and architecture.
• Chinese and English language skills.
