Backend Developer, Product and Data (AI)

Location: Aarhus, Denmark; on-site, with hybrid options planned for later this year

Product development focuses on SEO analytics, AI visibility tracking, and search data infrastructure.

What you will do

• Build features across SEO analytics and AI visibility products using Django APIs, background jobs, and data models.
• Write and optimize PostgreSQL and ClickHouse queries supporting high-volume analytical workloads.
• Take scoped changes from design through deployment and progressively own services in production.
• Develop optional React and TypeScript frontend features.
• Design and work with AI agents, tools, context, structured outputs, and evaluations.

Requirements

• Strong programming fundamentals and the ability to reason about runtime costs.
• Production experience with a real system, hosted service, or side project with actual users.
• Experience with a web framework such as Django, Rails, or Express, plus relational databases and SQL.
• Ownership of problems from solution design through completion.
• Ability to work on-site in Aarhus.

Nice to have

• Python, Django, Celery, pandas, or polars.
• React and TypeScript.
• ClickHouse or another columnar database.
• Linux, Kafka, and performance troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with AI agents, tool and context design, structured output, and evaluations.
