Senior Director, Chapter Lead, Insurance Analytics

Location: Toronto, Canada; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site

What you will do

• Lead the Insurance Decision Science team and execute strategic initiatives across hirify.global Insurance products.
• Set technical direction and standards for actuarial, statistical, data science, and AI-enabled methods, models, tools, and controls.
• Support pricing, profitability, growth, forecasting, portfolio performance, market share, and risk exposure decisions.
• Translate complex business and analytical information into clear recommendations for executives and business leaders.
• Challenge assumptions, forecasts, targets, and proposed courses of action while driving innovation.
• Own workforce planning, succession, hiring, coaching, development, and deployment of actuarial and analytics talent.

Requirements

• Actuary with an advanced degree in actuarial science, data science, analytics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Senior-level experience in insurance and expert knowledge of authorized and non-authorized insurance products.
• Strong understanding of banking and insurance frameworks, regulatory requirements, risk, and compliance considerations.
• Extensive experience in product management, strategic planning, and project management.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and executive presentation skills.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada and able to provide a valid work or study permit where applicable.
