Data Scientist, Ricochet Anti-Cheat (Call of Duty)

Salary: $88,700–$164,080 annual base pay in the U.S.

What you will do

• Analyze gameplay telemetry, enforcement data, behavioral signals, and large-scale datasets to investigate cheating patterns and anti-cheat outcomes.
• Support ETL, data analysis, measurement strategy, and machine-learning-assisted detection projects.
• Design experiments and analyses to measure the impact of models, detections, interventions, and enforcement workflows.
• Validate anti-cheat detections and model changes while monitoring effectiveness and false-positive risk.
• Build dashboards, recurring reports, and executive-level summaries for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Partner with engineers, game designers, producers, analysts, and operations teams to identify anti-cheat improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience using data science to solve real-world problems with measurable user or business impact.
• Experience working with large data volumes, experimentation, impact measurement, statistical analysis, dashboards, and repeatable analytical workflows.
• Master's degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Computer Science, Data Analysis, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Python, SQL, and PySpark, plus practical knowledge of ETL, data quality, schema evolution, and reproducible analysis.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar data lake and warehouse environments.
• Strong communication, analytical judgment, and ability to work through ambiguous problems with incomplete or noisy data.

Nice to have

• Experience with agentic orchestration workflows, machine-learning-assisted detection systems, model monitoring, or adversarial behavior analysis.
• Experience with game telemetry, player behavioral analysis, or live-service game operations.
• Knowledge of Call of Duty gameplay, competitive multiplayer ecosystems, or common cheating methods.
